• Afterlight Catacombs is a thrilling first-person adventure-horror-survival game that boasts procedural level generation, inventory management, and intricate maze navigation.

• Your journey begins in a dim catacomb. Locate a torch to illuminate your path and beware of a lurking creature. Avoid its gaze! It’s known to be “moderately to extremely” violent when approached.

• Use chalk to trace your route and prevent getting lost in the maze. Your inventory can hold chalk, among other items. Afterlight Catacombs features a slot-based inventory system accommodating various item sizes, including a torch, chalk, bandages, oil flasks, and one key at a time. Collectible “lore” items are also available to unlock Steam Achievements.

• In each stage, manage your inventory wisely, evade the snuffer, and navigate until you encounter the colossal skull gate. You’ll recognize it when you see it! Some gates require a key, while others can be opened by activating a hidden lever.

• To finish the game, navigate through all five mazes without falling victim to the snuffer. The catacombs are enchanted, ensuring each playthrough offers a unique maze experience!

• Upon completing the fifth level, you’ll be on the brink of freedom from the catacombs. But tread carefully! You must confront and outsmart the snuffer in a final showdown to reclaim your liberty!

• Afterlight Catacombs features simulated violence involving a humanoid entity that will attack if you venture too close. It will strike you with its limbs, and once your health is depleted, the creature will leap over you, scream, and your current life will come to an end.
