Introducing FILE 9

We are excited to announce that FILE 9 is currently under development and will soon be available for PC. As we continue to enhance the game with new content, improved visuals, and a revamped user interface, we are gearing up for a significant update set to launch in early 2024. This update will incorporate all currently accessible areas, complete with enhancements. Players can also expect full controller support for an optimal gaming experience.

Upcoming features include:

• The final two story-driven simulations, each set in uniquely designed and stunning environments.
• An extensive overhaul of the Terminal area, featuring asset upgrades, expanded play zones (including hidden secret areas), and a dynamic day/night cycle.
• Innovative offensive and defensive gameplay tools tailored for each simulation.
• A complete redesign of the UI/UX for a more intuitive experience.
• Comprehensive asset and sound updates.
• Steam Cloud saves for seamless gameplay.
• Steam trading cards and leaderboards for select simulations.
• New achievements for both upcoming and existing simulations.

We are also committed to localizing FILE 9 into multiple languages, enhancing accessibility and enjoyment for all players.

The next major update is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, with plans to launch fully completed content, including DLC, by mid-2024. The initial areas currently available offer an engaging storyline, and we encourage you to explore the lower section of the Main Terminal for deeper insight into the backstory. About FILE 9:

FILE 9, crafted by Alfred Cypress, serves as one of the Sub Terminal Areas dedicated to training simulations. Each area is uniquely designed, incorporating elements of stealth, weapon handling, exploration, and strategic planning to accomplish objectives. Players' reflexes and composure will be tested, but with focus and perseverance, success is within reach!

Alfred Cypress operates several facilities worldwide, each facing potential security breaches due to his groundbreaking energy source innovations. To combat these threats, he has created specialized training zones away from the main underground facility, known as FILE 9. This location features multiple programs, including Transport Tunnel, Infiltrate and Destroy, and Drone Evasion, all designed to prepare players for potential adversarial encounters.

Lorna, adopted at birth, discovers that her biological grandfather is Alfred Cypress. This revelation, coupled with his mysterious disappearance, propels her to maximize her training opportunities. As a member of the Cypress lineage, Lorna gains access to FILE 9, utilizing its resources to prepare for the challenges ahead.

Currently, FILE 9 offers several fully operational areas, each with unique features that demand skill and strategy to complete objectives.
